Nar Maya and her husband, Phurba, began their journey of faith in very different places—Nar in a refugee camp in eastern Nepal and Phurba while working in India. When they reunited, their shared faith became the foundation for a new life together.

After resettling in Omaha, Nebraska, they found support through Christ Community Church. What began as a small gathering of just 40 people worshipping in a church balcony grew into an independent Nepali-Bhutanese congregation of more than 250 people.

Today, the community that once had to rebuild its own lives is helping bring hope and plant churches among unreached communities across Asia—a powerful story of faith, partnership, and transformation.
